As anyone that knows us will no doubt be aware, McGrady Insurance’s Fintan McGrady has a longstanding passion for motorsport and has been deeply involved in the rallying community in Northern Ireland. Fintan himself has been a rally participant for over 45yrs in various classes, most recently in a Modified class 7 car. This year he will participate in the rally in a class 1 Historic Car and is as enthusiastic as ever about his involvement.

“Motorsport is part of the fabric of Northern Ireland with some of our greatest heroes coming from this sporting community. I’ve had the pleasure of being supported by the motorsports community in both rallying and in business, which is why I’m so happy to be repaying that support through our sponsorship,” Fintan said.

“Under the careful guidance of new Championship co-ordinator Gavin Campbell, we can be sure of the quality of each event,” added McGrady Insurance MD, Aidan Hughes. “And we would like to thank all the participating motor clubs, officials, sponsors, and marshals without whom the Championship could not take place.”

It’s important also to thank the people who live along the respective rally routes for their understanding, their patience and their permission to allow the event to happen. It’s an incredible feat of community collaboration with so many people coming together to make this possible.
